I always focus primarily on building blogs to produce income online, but there are certainly more ways to earn money! One way I thought I’d talk about today is by writing for others, or freelance writing.

There’s a HUGE demand for freelance writers. I know several people who make quite a nice full time income simply by writing articles and ebooks and blog posts for others. If you’re capable of writing at a 10th grade level, which is the equivalent of how magazines such as US and People are written, then you can certainly move into this arena.

If you need to make some quick money online, I’d say that freelancing is the way to go. Blogging is fantastic for building up a recurring passive income, but I’m the first to say that it won’t happen overnight. Everybody in Web promoting agrees that ‘the cash is in the list’.

From day one, you should be capturing leads and then communicating with your sign-ups effectively.

After all, list building is almost more important than the website … and you do not truly have to own a website to begin this essential process.

I don’t usually post about my personal life, but I’ve been relatively absent for the past couple of weeks, and thought I’d share with you.

I had an “opportunity” to do a bit of international traveling for a short term contract for a large company. It sounded like fun, and the money offered was a definite plus. So I grabbed a suitcase and my passport, and off I went on a whirlwind trip to the Caribbean.

It wasn’t nearly as much fun as I had anticipated, but it was an eye opener. I ended up in places I didn’t expect to ever visit, and seeing how some people truly live in emerging nations is heartbreaking, and gave me a new found appreciation for what I have right here in the US. I know that these people need help, and at least I can say that I did spend some money in their countries, and every little bit helps them. But most of all, I expanded my own mind.
