To Ping or Not to Ping – My Ping List

No, I’m not Shakespeare, nor will I ever be! I’ll leave that part to Donna, although I am writing more these days.

A question that I’m often asked is where we should be manually pinging our blogs. And my usual answer is no, we don’t need to go out and manually ping each blog site. But what we do need to do is provide a ping list in our Blog Settings. That’s not all we need to do to make this process automatic – we should also install a plugin that will prevent you from pinging every time you edit a post, which will get you banned from the ping services – not good. Pinging will often result in backlinks – which is good!

The plugin that I use is free, and it’s called MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer Plugin – you can just go to their download site, download it, install it, activate and register it with them. So in exchange for your email you get a great Ping Optimizer.

Now, let me give you my ping list. To included this in your blog, go to your Dashboard, Settings, Writing, then scroll down to the bottom, and just paste it in. If you have any sites you’d like to see included – please, let me know!

I can’t say that I blame you for looking for list building secrets. I am certain you’re aware that list building is the most important part of any on-line business, but actually doing it seems very hard.

What you want are list building secrets, or magic bullets, that nobody wants to share with you. Well guess what, they do exist. Yes there are some secrets that folks do not openly speak about concerning list building, but in the majority of cases it is merely because they do not even know anybody else wants to know them.

First of all you need to improve the responsiveness of the list you have, and this is easy. How about doubling the click through rates, and more than doubling the sales from each email all without obtaining new subscribers.

To start off you need to stop sending the same useless emails to folks that you yourself receive. You need to look at it in a totally different way if you really want to make a killing with each email you send. People keep saying they value their subscribers, but when it comes to it they take but five minutes to write down their follow up messages.

If you want the people on your list to be waiting on your emails and clicking on your links, you need to do a bit more. To begin with you should write a proper news letter with actual content designed to help your readers. All it takes is a little effort to actually research your niche markets interests and write to them about this. Sometimes let them know about a real offer that will interest them, and you’ll see a much higher percentage than before will buy it.

List building secrets are well kept kept because no one wants to listen. If you would like a responsive list you need to put in a little bit more effort, but is that really so bad.

Now, as to getting your list started in the first place, I recommend setting up a good capture system and joining giveaway events.

First of all you do not need to use your own product to use give away events, as PLR is usually accepted. So go and find some PLR related to your niche market, and submit it to every give away event you can.

By using this method you’ll build a massive list quickly, and by using the previously mentioned technique you’ll convert them into buyers.

Another method of building your list is to find a joint venture partner and do ad swaps. This involves you agreeing to send their advert to your list, and them reciprocating.

To find JV partners you simply want to look at who your biggest competitors are in your niche, and ask them if they would like to do an ad swap.

As you see these link building secrets are not difficult to understand, and they’re simple to follow. This doesn’t mean they will not work, and they are the most effective methods you’ll find anywhere. Just try them for yourself and you’ll see, just how powerful these link building secrets are.
